This is my Crib Sheet

There are a variety of places around the net to get information and thoughtful discussion on the problems facing America. A good practice to get into when reviewing a new site for inclusion in any list is to check for a history of errors, faulty logic, or blatant hypocrisy.

Bias is an important aspect of any review: Mine and the site listed. If a site makes its bias known up front I consider it to be "more honest" than sites that pretend at objectivity. (BTW, look up "confirmation bias"). I'm finding a better and more complete news experience by following Citizen Journalists and Citizen Editors.

I find the sites listed here quite provacative - and I'm not just saying that because they follow my twitter stream!

"News for geeks: stuff that matters" is their tagline. An excellent source for news on tech, computers, geekdom and politics.

Excellent reporting on  current events with a libertarian perspective. "Upper case" and "lower case" L libertarians seem well represented; short and feature articles, videos, etc.

News and conservative commentary from the country

Tshirts that support Herman Cain, who talks some good economic shit. He was known for bailing out companies! Hello! MSM???? #WTF?

Great small newspaper with a libertarian bent

Believe it or not, there can be reasonably intelligent writing and news to be had here.  Who Knew?

Terrific Citizen Newspaper - you can stop wasting trees now.
